A little after 3pm on March 14, the Fairmount Fire Company was dispatched to 31 Sierra Drive for the report of a car fire. The first officer on scene advised all responding units and the Morris County Communications Center that the vehicle was fully involved and close to the home. Fairmount requested one engine from Long Valley to assist with extinguishing the fire. No injuries occurred and crews were able to contain the fire to only the vehicle.
