Late Morning Bus Fire

At 11:35 yesterday morning, Morris County Communications dispatched Washington Township Fire Companies to 52 Rock Road for a van fire. Upon arrival, first arriving officers updated responding units of a working school bus van fire. Long Valley Engine 1-1 was the first due engine and quickly stretched a line to knock down the bulk of the fire. Schooleys Engine 3-1 followed and stretched  a second line to assist. Overhaul was conducted after the fire was out to check for extension. Other units working on scene were Fairmount Engine 2-1 and Tender 2-7 as well as Morris County HAZMAT. All units left with two hours.
