At 8:01pm, Long Valley Fire was dispatched for a vehicle fire next to a building on East Mill Road. A nearby Patrol car was the first to arrive and confirmed a working vehicle fire with extension to the building. Long Valley Chief 1 soon followed and requested for a 1st alarm bringing Fairmount and Schooleys Mtn fire companies and EMS to the scene. Long Valley Engine 1-1 was the first due engine, stretched the front bumper line and contained and extinguished the vehicle fire before it could further damage the building. All Washington Township Fire units left the incident after an hour. No injuries occurred.
