This past monday, Long Valley Fire, Long Valley EMS, and the Rescue Team were dispatched to 18 Naughright Road for the motor vehicle accident. The first arriving EMS units quickly requested for a Medevac. Long Valley Chief 1 and Engine 1-1 arrived on scene of the accident and quickly redirected towards the landing zone. After the helicopter was safely on the ground, ALS canceled the medevac and the patient was transported to Hackettstown hospital via the first aid squad where he later succumbed to his injuries. Morris County sheriff and prosecutors office also were at the scene. The fire company sends our prayers to the family.
