Earlier this morning, Washington Twp Fire companies and Hackettstown Fire were dispatched to 448 Schooleys Mtn Road or the structure fire. Schooleys Chief 1 arrived first and confirmed a working fire and then requested a 2nd Alarm and a Tender Task Force. Schooleys Engine 3-1 followed by Hackettstown Truck arrived first and began attacking the fire and venting the structure as Long Valley Engine 1-1 arrived and assisted with water and extinguishment. Due to the lack of resources at the time, Fairmount Engine 2-1 was assigned as the RIC team until Netcong arrived. Long Valley Cascade 1-3 and Engine 1-2 arrived shortly Engine 2-1 and assisted in providing water and manpower. It took approximately an hour to place the fire under control due to hoarding conditions and fire on all floors. Other departments operating on scene were Tri-County, Budd Lake, Netcong, Mansfield, Allamuchy, Califon, and Chester Fire Departments.
