Earlier this month, the Fire Company was dispatched to "Big Turn" on Schooley's Mountain Road at 09:07 in the morning for an overturned dump truck full of hot asphalt. The driver of the vehicle refused medical attention from the Long Valley First Aid. The truck was uprighted and the scene was cleared at 12:30pm. The road remained closed for a short time afterward.
