Late September, all 3 companies in town and the first aid squad responded to a reported house fire on Mountain View Avenue. Crews found smoke in the garage and after further investigation found the source to be a burning air conditioning unit. Later in the night, the fire company and the first aid squad provided station coverage for Budd Lake while they operated at a fire on Goldmine Road
