On December 28th at 11:24pm, an engine from the fire company was requested into Chester Township for the 2nd Alarm Structure Fire. Engine 1-1 responded with 6 firefighters and was immediately put to work upon arrival. While firefighters assisted with extinguishment, Cascade 1-3 was additionally requested to the scene to refill SCBA bottles. Crews did not clear the scene until 3 hours later. Several mutual aid companies worked on scene and it was a great job done by all.
