On Monday April 20th, Washington Township Emergency Services responded to a call for a residential structure fire at 4 Mountain View Ave. Long Valley Fire, Fairmount Fire, Schooleys Mtn Fire, and Long Valley First Aid Squad worked together alongside Washington Twp Police, and mutual aid companies from Califon, Chester, Flanders, and Hackettstown to extinguish the fire. Pottersville and Tri-County Fire Companies provided standby station coverage. The home’s residents were evacuated safely. Thank you to all who responded and helped keep our community safe.
