Last Thursday, all Washington Township Fire Companies were alerted of a reported car fire on Ann Road in Schooleys Mountain's section of the township. Patrol on scene advised fire companies of a fully involved car fire with no exposure issues. Long Valley Engine 1-1 arrived first due, stretched the bumper line, and extinguished the fire. Fairmount Utility 2-8 and Schooleys Support 3-4 provided manpower at the scene. All units cleared the scene within an hour and no injuries occurred.
