At 11:46pm last night, Washington Twp Fire Companies were requested into Lebanon Twp for the 5th alarm brush fire. Long Valley Engine 1-2 was tasked with setting up a draft site off Califon Road for water shuttle operations. Engine 1-2 returned to service in approximately 4 hours.
Earlier this evening, Long Valley Engines 1-1 and 1-2 along with Schooleys Mtn Engine 3-2 handled this stubborn vehicle fire off Middle Valley Road. All units returned to service in approximately an hour and a half.
The Long Valley Fire Company has responded to several motor vehicle accidents in the past few weeks. Please use caution while driving on the roads.

At 12:47pm on October 9th, Washington Twp Fire Companies were requested to set up a landing zone at Long Valley First Aid Squad Station 1. Long Valley Engine 1-1 had LZ command and crews assisted EMS with transporting the patient to the helicopter. Fairmount Fire also assisted on scene

Around 6:30am Monday morning, the fire company was dispatched to Naughright Road for a reported head on 2 car accident. Units arrived to a confirmed accident with injuries and fluid spill. Both drivers were transported by the Long Valley First Aid Squad. The road remained closed for approximately 2 hours.
Last night, Engine 1-2 and the Long Valley First Aid Squad showed our support at the West Morris Central HS vs West Morris Mendham HS Football game. West Morris Central Wolfpack won 49-0!
At 02:40am Friday Morning, the fire company was dispatched to Fairmount Road for the reported motor vehicle crash. Engine 1-2 arrived to a vehicle vs pole with the occupant out of the vehicle. Crews cleaned up and secured the scene as EMS tended to the patient and PD conducted their investigation.
