The Long Valley Fire Company sponsored a pizza party with the Kids4Kindness group at our firehouse tonight. We wanted to thank the group for all that they do for the Washington Township community.
Recently, Long Valley has had several car crashes in town including a vehicle that crashed on Zellers Road. The driver of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol and after driving across several properties, the driver crashed into a tree. During the evening on Sunday, a passerby reported seeing smoke and a small fire at one of the entrances to Schooleys Mountain Park. This past weekend, the community came out to the Long Valley Firehouse to enjoy a spaghetti and meatball dinner and meet the local firefighters at the same time. The firehouse was filled the entirety of the event! Thank you to all who came to the fundraiser
